        The bible said some of His deciples were his bio brothers. One was James. I forgot the other ones. There were 3 of them at least. He had sisters too.

        The brothers of Jesus is a designation based upon the New Testament's description of James, Joseph (Joses), Judas (Jude) andSimon as "brothers" of Jesus Christ. Also mentioned, but not named, are "sisters" of Jesus. Some scholars argue that these brothers, especially James,[1] held positions of special honor in the early Christian church. Antidicomarianites and many critical scholars claim that these "brothers" and "sisters" refer to the biological children of Mary and Joseph. Followers of the Catholic, Eastern Orthodoxand Oriental Orthodox traditions, as well as some Anglicans and Lutherans, accept the doctrine of the perpetual virginity of Mary and therefore reject the claim that Jesus had blood siblings. They maintain that these "brothers" and "sisters" received this designation on account of their close association with the family of Jesus, but are actually either cousins or children of Joseph from a previous marriage.

          yes she had children after Jesus...so why is she still called "THE VIRGIN MARY "

            You know why! At the time of Jesus's birth, she was "The Virgin Mary". There are a lot of other Marys and this gives her the unique identity.

            Being the mother of Jesus is a pretty unique identity.just knowing that makes her stand out.

            WE call her the Virgin Mary when we talk about the birth of Jesus. Later, she is referred to as Mary, the mother of Jesus. "Virgin" is dropped, and I think we continue to emphasize her virginity to emphasize the miracle. What do you think?

            i have no problem believing in the virginity birth,but some beliefs pray to mary rather than Jesus,,my understanding is that once a human dies,they no longer can have any input in earth..

            I'll presume you are referring to Catholics; they pray to Mary and many saints for many reasons. I don't agree with the practice. ALSO, they have all kinds of statues of their saints, which I've come to consider similar to "idols" of sorts. Their 10 Commandments does NOT include the 3rd commandment re: making graven images. They break up the 10th (covet neighbor's wife separate from covet neighbor's stuff). (If my information is wrong, maybe someone can straighten out my errors).

              In Spanish, it's pronouced Hay zeus . The biblical pronounciation is more like Yoshshua
              i.e. Joshua.The Bible says at least 3 of Jesus's deciples were his real brothers. James was one. Forgot the names of the other ones. He had sisters too. It never gave the names of his sisters. It said Mary and her daughters watched his crucifiction from a distance away. John the Baptist was His cousin.
              Mary had something like 6--9 children.

              Amazing the number of people that say they 'found Jesus'.. I didn't know he was lost?? And there must be thousands of Jesus' because they locate him in some of the weirdest places. Paris Hilton found him in jail??? weird.
