I keep getting a warning on my laptop "Low Disk Space you are running very low on disk space on OS(C:). Click here to see if you can free space on this drive. When I click, it begins to scan...then stops half way through...I've waited a full day recently and nothing changed. Anyone have any suggestions? (Please)

Try uninstalling all the crap that you don't use.

If I delete certain "crap"...I notice it will sometimes delete some OTHER (links)crap that my PC needs to operate correctly and speedy. If i go to control panel and "find and fix problems",It says no problems.I'm stuck with this crap, you mean? Would defrag(ing) system do anything for my PC?

A defrag wont harm your PC, I clean and defrag every day, always save your passwords though.

Note There is a registry value you can set to disable this feature. To disable low disk space checks, follow these steps, log off, and then log on again: Follow these steps, and then quit Registry Editor:

    1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.

    2. Locate and then click the following key in the registry:

      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

    3. On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.

    4. Type NoLowDiskSpaceChecks, and then press ENTER.

    5. On the Edit menu, click Modify.

    6. Type 1, and then click OK

Do you have a printer? Print it if you do.
    wonderer

No printer, It did prompt me, but I still don't think I got it correct. I just got that warning again...youd'e think with ALL the tech stuff out there...there would be a program to detect and repair this kind of issue...(or DO they)?...O ya...almost forgot to ask...do I need to restart after all that stuff...or am I good to go?...Just WONDERERin'...

After any changes to your computer, you should always restart it.
