    My GE Refrigerator is freezing up and will not defrost, the fan in the freezer does work

    Unplug the fridge and allow the freezer to defrost. This will allow the compressor to to defrost too. Seems like everything is frozen and the fan could be frozen too. Watch the back of your fridge while it's defrosting. You'll get water from the lines and compressor that I'm sure are covered in frost right now.
