Well Im a host at a bar/restaurant. I work with another host named Jake. Hes single.He stares at me from across the room,he once asked me to stay with him after his shift is done & he bought a meal that me & him shared. He asked me questions like how old am I or am I in school exc. When we walk pass each other,he looks in my eyes & smile. He holds the door open for me. He teases me & acts goofy a lot around me. One morning, I came in to get my check. The manager & other employees were having an important meeting. Jake was in it too. But when he saw me, he literally walked away from the meeting & said hi. I told him I was having a problem putting my check in the bank. Without me even asking him, he got one of the other managers & told them what my problem was & asked to him to help me. I was so surpised at how helpful he was being! My supervisor once teased me & told me that Jake likes me & wants to take me out. He was joking though. But, my supervisor asked me if I was single(yes) & if I liked Jake. I said as a friend. Me & Jake were sharing a meal once. My supervisor yelled Get it Jay! Jay smiled & said shut up. I finally worked up the courage & got Jay's number. He told me to let him know if I ever want to switch shifts with him. When I was about to leave, I teased and said I might text you or I might not. He said okay wih a smile & he chuckled a little. Im too nervous to text him. I also want to get to know him a little more. Im not sure if he likes me back. I dont want to get my heart broken. What should I do? Are his feelings mutual so far?
