They seem to like me at different times but he had me move in for a month a few yrs ago and work for him but then I moved out since he told me his oldest daughter was jealous of me.. Then he has had me in his life on and off and I have been on vacations with him and his girls but since the last trip I have not seen the girls though they told me they loved me when I left since the oldest daughter sent me an ugly mess in fb saying not to contact her family especially her dad stating it's been asshoke since we have been together and I had no business bringing her dad a birthday present the day before which his birthday was on thanksgiving anyway I'm confused she sent me thus mess when she got back to her moms like 5 days after the incident of me dropping a present off though he did not let me in and I usually spend thanksgiving there anyway just do confused about her behavior and why her dad us bit letting me know what's going on and keeping me in the dark she is going to be 18 in January a d I thought she was staring to accept and like me so confused

This is a tough one Dreamer36 as it is so very difficult to know what to do that it might be better for you in the long-run to do..NOTHING. Say nothing about this, do nothing about it, and then sit back. It is a matter of sheer fact that everything changes and by being seemingly in-active many things tend to occur of their own accord...without instigation or interference. One of the worst places to be is caught between a child and their parent so I suggest backing away from the situation for a little...maybe re-evaluate why you are here to begin with and what your goals, hopes and dreams are for your relationship with the father of this emotionally mixed up 18 year old.
I'd like to inquire as well as to where he sits upon learning of his daughters' seemingly twisted behaviour toward you and really...where did THAT come from? If I read between the lines a little I suspect that the girls' mother may be 'instigating' a demi-campaign of sorts? Is it possible that the daughter is not the jealous one and perhaps her mom is at the crux of these woes? It would not surprise me in the least for stranger things have happened.

You do not say if he is divorced. If he is not, then he should be, or you should not be dating a married man. This sets a very bad behavior for his daughters, and it may be the problem. By the way, how much difference in ages between you and his daughters? It sounds like the years are few between your ages.
