Just an update: court is over & I won't be divorced until the judge makes a decision regarding our property (could be 6 more mos) I'll let you know

I was on the stand for 4 hours! Hubby was on the stand for 20 min. (but he made a total a$$ out of himself!!!)..long day- I've been up for 30 hrs. Thanks for your kind words, thoughts and prayers! Lets hope the judge follows the law- don't know if I can deal with an appeal!!

OY....We've been separated since March '11..almost 2 yrs. (Husband is a jerk thus the prolonged amt. of time)

Just as a footnote:- The only legal grounds for a divorce in this country is 12 mths separation.
Then the divorce is automatic as soon as one of the parties applies for it.The property settlement is sorted out after the divorce.

Uncontested it SHOULD be 1 yr here too...it's been almost 2 years already...I can't work so that makes the finances nerve racking (however I need to apply to disability (which turned me down) again..Haven't gotten a penny from him yet. I saved a lot of $ while I was working which has saved my a$$

Julie- I should have I'd be much saner now (maybe, that's pretty debatable LOL). It didn't take long but I was pretty darn sick and in a lot of pain ( Did I mention he asked for the divorce when I was in the hospital- he's a real gem <sarcasm>)

We've had several natural disasters since we separated and I always hoped for that "Mrs._____ we are sorry to inform you but Mr.____ was a casualty of that storm" :)....guess God has a reason for all of this. I know I enjoy laughter and friends/family more than I ever did!!!
