Logistics is supplying resources and needs of any kind that enables normal function. An example for logistics: an office needs to get supplies such as papers, computers, and so on. Managing these supplies is called logistics.
The term was originally used in militaries: troops must get supplies of ammunitions food, among other things, in order to be able to keep fighting.
