    Oh hell!..Yep nbrooks gave me the answer..thanks nb..but Dowse made me laugh!:-)...O.K.so if I can`t give everyone the best answer thing..then..I shall have to suffer the wrath of Dowse and his pans!..Sorry Dowse..(Even more sorry re the Mo-in-law)!!;-0...I have t play fair!...Therefore the winner is..........ns..Thank you guys!XX

    nsbrooks is correct (though dowsa's definition works well too-LOL).....The black friday sales started as an attempt for companies in the red (owing more $ than they have made that year) could turn around and sell enough to be in the black (actually making more than they own and therefor have made a profit).

    IN my case. MY MOTHER-IN- LAW CALLS STAYS  ALL DAY "" WOULDN'T "YOU CALL THAT "BLACK FRIDAY !!!
