    leaving the market and a car ran into my cart and i was injured, is the driver liable?

    I would sort legal advice regarding this. I could be the persons word against yours.


    It would depend on many things, were you watching where you were going? Was it just an accident? Do you have witnesses?


    Did the person go out of there way swerve to hit you?


     

    Here in th UK pedestrians have the right of way in a car park or anywhere off the road, in fact  I think they have the right of way on the road once they are on it. However,  I would think you need to take legal advise.

    Did you give all the details ? - for what if you were not looking and stepped out with your cart and got hit. I would need more information on this subject. I can picture several scenario's, and how badly are you injured, and are you in a way , perhaps being low handed and after money???-? Take no offense, but more information is needed on this...-.

    In a parking lot, pedestrians ALWAYS have the right of way whether they look or not. Drivers have to stop or go very slowly past people walking in a parking lot. This is USA laws anyway.
