    Full retirement age based on your date of birth
    1943-54 66
    1955 66 and 2 months
    1956 66 and 4 months
    1957 66 and 6 months
    1958 66 and 8 months
    1959 66 and 10 months
    1960 and later 67            You can still collect a reduced benifit between age 63 to 65 however

    In the UK I can get it from the age of 60 if I'm unemployed at that time, I was fully paid up for a state pension before I was 40, depends on circumstances of people here.
