    Instructions
    1
Download a BitTorrent client. There are a range of BitTorrent clients available on the Internet. Popular clients include the original BitTorrent and uTorrent, a client that runs well on slower computers (see Resources).

    2
Launch the BitTorrent client. Make sure your Internet connection is active, otherwise you will be unable to share files.

    3
Select the source file. The source file is the document you want to upload via BitTorrent. Depending on your BitTorrent client, select "Add a File" or "Add a Directory." Navigate to the file you want to share and select it.

    4
Select a tracker. The tracker is a URL that allows BitTorrent clients to find each other, which ultimately allows a file to be transferred. You can find websites that host trackers for the specific type of content you are transferring. Some clients, like uTorrent, include an embedded tracker, meaning that you can transfer files using your computer's IP address rather than a web-based server. However, because of the bandwidth demands, this is only recommended if you are sharing among a small group of friends or family. If using a web-based tracker, registration of your torrent on their website may be required.

    5
Save the file to your local machine. The final step in starting your torrent upload is to save the torrent to a folder on your computer. You can save it to any location, such as your downloads folder or a directory where you store other torrents. The location to which the file is saved has no bearing on other users finding or downloading your file.

    6
Upload your torrent to a site. Upload the file created above to a site that indexes torrents. This can be the same site that provided your tracker. Once uploaded, users can search your torrent and begin downloading.

I'm not very knowledgeable about bit torrents as I never use these types of programs. I'll bump this question to see if anyone else can help.
