Dogs shouldn't be fed bones because bones splinter when dogs chew on them and can rapture dogs' intestines, yet, some veterinarians say that feeding dogs raw bones is ok, and that the problem is only with cooked bones.

You are right. cooked bones schould never be given to a dog, only raw bones.
