    Off to hospital tomorrow, my knees are knocking, hopefully I can still keep in touch but if not, I will give hubby instructions (detailed..he is a little bit in the dark about AKA) to let you know how thing went, love to all, Karen

                              Yes I do I remember when Lamb Shanks were 20 cents and lamb packs were 20 dollars ... Seems like we ran out of sheep or something hey :)))

                              Hey wonder,I hit the jackpot in Casino yesterday (Casino is a town) lamb loin chops $10 a kilo.......couldn't buy enough but woe,shanks still very expensive

                              Wow thats mega cheap, I lived in Violet town we had Merino and also fat lambs, we use to get $10 a bale in 2007 and when I left the farm it went up to $46 .
                              At one stage our fat lambs were being sold to wollies for $3.25 per kilo , then we would go to the stupid market and see a leg of lamb was like $12 a kilo .. Take a bargin when you see it these days I say.. :)

                                      Happy belated b-day to you, and hopefully everything turned out very well at hospital.  Best wishes for speedy recovery.  My mouth is watering for lamb chops after hearing you girls go on..   They are very expensive here in states too!  And to think, Americans on the whole do not eat lamb.  I was getting it for free when I taught at the school, I raised a flock, and would do a unit on butchering and dressing.  I would then throw a lamb shish kabob for the students.  Also, would butcher one for the adult education class, and we would have a raffle (no money) drawing for cuts which we had just cut and wrapped.  It was great fun, and all got a free pack of meat.  take care.
