YES AS A MATTER OF FACT .I WAS THINKING OF YOU AND HOW NICE YOU WOULD SMELL !!

Any building must have roof removed before burning or one just committed ARSON., also you'll face destruction of property charges.  So, if you do the crime, be prepared to do the time and pay the fine!!!

I think they have a word for it. ARSON!

Vickie...I think that I have the best answer to your question.  Call your local fire department, give them your name, address and telephone number before you ask them this....

"Is it okay for me to burn down my neighbor's shed"?

They will probably be right over to help you and they may even bring a few cops, just so you'll have all the help you need.  Good luck.

Get good and "liquored up" on some of that Alabami Moon Shine..then stick a small towel in the bottle- Cops just love Molotov Cocktails!

    See you soon.

In most instances such as you describe, the crime is called arson. Depending on the circumstances, that is one thing that could cost you a lengthy stay in prison or jail.

Well, if you burn your neighbor's shed without a permit or permission, it is going to be considered arson, which is AGAINST THE LAW, NOT OK, and you will likely have a problem on your hands.  PLUS your neighbor can sue you for reimbursement and damages.
If your neighbor burned YOUR shed without a permit or permission, THAT is also ARSON. Same scenario; same outcome.  PLUS, you can sue for reimbursement  and damages.

In summary, it's most likely AGAINST the law to burn anybody's property.

Did you have a fab time in L.V....Bob...I DO hope so!!:-)

What makes you think that you , or any one, can take things into your own hands, and destroy any thing that does not belong to you, and get away with it. ? Think again.

What laws does Alabama have regarding compulsory education? How do you explain your grammar and punctuation? It is legal to hunt humans, however. Careful, "dear!" ""

LOL.... come on Clonge! She spelled shed correctly! Gee, I hope she meant shed and not bed...kinda hard to tell :)

    Too Funny!

Clonge....this question & the hornet question...lack a considerable amount of..common sense. This is why I thought the authors might be the same!

Wait...it's coming to me...You were the one who wanted to know if it was a "good" idea to mow over a hornets nest!!!!!!!

    Clonge

No doolittle! "You just opened up a hornet's nest." I answered the question and provided a link showing how dangerous it would be to "doo" that: Yes! If you're allergic to the venom, even one sting can kill you. En masse, even if one sting doesn't really affect you, lots of them stinging can cause an allergic reaction, and your throat can swell up to the point where you can't breathe. Same with bees, especially "Killer Bees". Here's a video of Japanese hornets: http://youtu.be/R5QxUR-mZVM Edit this comment

Clonge please see my response in your answers thread.

doolittle: I interpeted it wrong. Sorry, but I thought you meant that it was me who asked the hornet question. By the way, "do" Alabama have any laws on burning down your neighbor's hornet's nest?

    doolittle

ROFL..Yes. You may not burn down your neighbor's hornet nest. They also have a law that you may not mow over your neighbor's shed. LOL
