Some insurance companies do not cover psychiatric services for patients diagnosed with depression. Do you think it should be mandatory for an insurance plan to cover these services?

Yes, it schould be mandatory. It is very expensive to see a psychiatrist and have to pay for it out of your own pocket.

Depression is an illness, like any other.  It is usually not taken very seriously by anyone who has not experienced it first hand or at least, seen a loved one experiencing it.  Yes, it should be covered.  However, the question remains, who decides what should or should not be covered?  Money and budgets can only stretch so far.

It should be mandatory for government to please all the people all the time.

I can't see why the doctor would disclose the nature of the problem,I have seen a psychiatrist for the same, no reason was sought, nor was one given, I claimed through insurance as I would any other practician
