Just like you did here, sele.  When the two of you are alone, "Mum, I think it's time for me to start wearing a bra now".  Don't be embarrassed.  She probably just hasn't noticed yet.

Sele, now is an opportunity for you to show that you are growing up and becoming an adult. Ask for what you need. That is what mature young ladies do. Good luck and do it, right now....TODAY!!! You will see that there was no reason to be afraid. Let me know how it turned out, okay? TODAY!

When you turn 20 you will wonder what all the fuss was about :) .. You are probably needing a birds and bees talk anyway ...
    sele

umm whats a birds and bees talk ??
    Deleted User

The expression is "the birds and the bees flowers and the trees".

    Birds, bees- males
    Flower, trees- females
    pollen-sperm
Bees spread pollen making more flowers...aka babies

I like this one... the dogs.

Your Mum would be noticing your change , maybe have a sit down with Mum and have a chat to her about going bra shopping, it can also be an exciting experience for a mother to watch her daughter become a young woman :)

I personally hated it...it was embarrassing I thought.

Really ? As a mother or a Child?
My Mum was okay about a lot of things, even when I told her I was gay, she did ask me "was it that boy you dated at high school " lol

As a child. My friends were embarrassed about "growing boobs" too. Remember, it was quite a different era then. (I'm 70.)

    Hereditary...

Yes....Just  ask your mum!///Mum`s are there to be confided in...Remember she was  your age once...although I know that`s hard to believe when you are young!...She had to ask her Mum once too!!......If you REALLY are that embarrassed that you feel you can`t ask her..then write her a note ...but It really isn`t such a big deal as you think now!!...But Mum`s love to believe that their kids can confide in them,,,Makes us Mum`s feel good too!!!..Go for it honey!!...One day you may even laugh at the thought you were embarrassed by it..It`s all a big part of growing up!!

    all the best..millie xx

My mom got me a too tight boys polo shirt in navy blue when I started to show my round bumps. I had to go on a field trip wearing that horrid shirt. HORRID.  You better tell your mom about what's going on under your blouse so you don't end up going on a field trip in a navy blue polo shirt!  Got it?

I would think you would be more embarrassed knowing there are men here reading what you've posted. You actually feel safer talking to strange men about this than your own mother? You have women replying to you but you also have men replying. When you start showing, your mother will get you a training bra.
