    Giving back what?

maybe she means help organize an activity for the members, like a family picnic or something, I dunno. Or maybe the veteran recoveryites come to the meetings to give people mutual aide or informal counseling after the meeting. And I do know that some successful past members sponsor newer members.

Paying it forward is the greatest thanks you could give these fine organizations.........

I don't get the part about the ' ' Parent Care '' in A A or N A meetings . What is that ? ........taking care of elderly parents ?
