        -4(3x+2)=3(6x-6)


        -12x - 8 = 18x - 18


           -12x + 12x - 8 + 18 = 18x + 12x - 18 + 18


        cancels out                                   cancels out


                                   10   =   30x


        10/30  =  30x/30


        1/3  =  x


        Or,


        -12x - 8 =  18x - 18


        -12x  - 18x   - 8 + 8  =    18x - 18x - 18 + 8


                                   cancels out


        -30x  =  -10


        -30x/-30  =  -10/-30


        x  =  1/3
