We certainly should have a DOOMS DAY celebration around Halloween so that we can cover a week of party time games and Grateful Dead activities amid drunken debauchery. Oh, we already do that in Louisiana on weekends…..but it would be more fun if we did this everywhere.

May 5th is my wife and I's anniversary.  I picked the date because it would make it easy for me to remember.. all I do is look around, if I see a bunch of drunken Mexicans dancing in the street I know its my anniversary..  Cinco di mayo--   Or in English, 'Sink the Mayo' its when the mexicans sank a  British ship in the Gulf of mexico in 1836 that was carrying mayonnaise..  The ships name was HMS MAYO--  To this day, the Brits will not send ships with Mayo through the Gulf of Mexico.  Mexicans hate mayonnaise and they will Cinco Di Mayo!  No problem!

What's much more significant is that it Derby Day!  The Run for the Roses!  AND Cinco De Mayo.  On the same day!   Party, party Par-taaaayy!
