    I get sound but no picture on my tv

    I have direct tv.  All I get is a blue screen

      Contact Direct TV--  But first try a DVD to make sure its not the TV.  Also, make sure you have the proper 'set' channel selected (most modern TV's do this automagically)-- also check your line inputs to make sure you have the proper line-in selected. If this all checkes out good, then call Direct TV support.
