    why does my car miss and stall out if i don't have the heater on?

    Could also be a frozen thermostat causing the engine to heat up, check your temp. guage to see if it's heating up..

    you have a vacume hose that is either disconnected or cracked. listen for a hissing or whistling noise and follow your ear to the leak......good luck.

    Your heater is vacuum operated, therefor, check out your cars vacuum system.  Is the car running hot too??

    Your heater system is vacuum operated. 


    Therefore, have your vacuum system checked out.
