Do not play vet to your hamster. That antiseptic may be too strong for his skin. You need to find out why he's losing his fur. It could be a rash which will need antibiotics designed for a hamster or it could be might or it could be his cage is not cleaned enough and he's on wet bedding too much. It could also be an improper diet. Take him to a vet.

thanx 4 ur advice,il take him 2 the vet.
Think it would be ok, I use antiseptic cream on my horse and it works perfectly fine.

Antiseptics creams are quite mild, used on many pets over the years including for hair loss with no reactions or problems

Are you a vet and are you using a broad brush when you speak of antiseptic creams? What if this particular cream has a steroid in it? You are giving an answer based on what a horse can handle. A horse, not a tiny rodent.
