          No, Jesus forgave his sins and told him you will be with me in Heaven.

          Yes he did tell him he would be with him in Heaven.. .but Barabbas did not ascend.

              Elijah and Jesus... The thieves on either side of him did not ascend. Their bodies remand on the crosses.

                Sorry but I was half wrong, the unnamed thief was the one for whom Jesus forgave his sins, Barabbas was set free
