I don't think there's anything to be done to reverse osteoporosis, though there may be ways of slowing it down. But as many have said before in this sort of context, we are not doctors, and even if we were, it would not be ethical to recommend invasive surgery or treatments with known or unpredictable side-effects to a patient whom one had never examined or interviewed.

OSTEOARTHRITIS is often caused by lack of calcium and vitaminD ..AND AGING!:->...As I always say see your GP for help..but even if it can`t be reversed it can be controlled by medical intervention and a healthy diet rich in protein and vegetables...with any arthritis your Dr may refer you to a pain clinic??..OR maybe Physio...so do ask what help is available!..Rheumatoid arthritis...inflamation usually of joints ..I know hands can be particularly painful...see GP...for pain relief and ask re steroid injections which can reduce swelling and pain and help with disfigurement of hands which can make life so difficult!!..(Remember I`m not a GP!!...So please follow their advice)!
