Your religion should lead you to salvation, if it don't find a new religion that will.

Because we have certain people on here that claim to be authority on God there is no authority on God we read the bible as far as salvation goes you have to accept Jesus into your heart as your savior.  But there is a difference between religion and salvation.  I myself am not an authority but that is the best answer I can give you.  It is about choice.
