Yes, I believe he's guilty of the charges. Greed drove him to forget the Hippocratic oath. He'll be out in 16 months.

He's guilty.  I imagine there was no way to prove he did it on purpose.  He will never practice medicine again and that is good.

I agree, even to ignore his addiction was negligent

    A glorified drug dealer. Sickening.

Guilty as charged. He was the attenting Dr. to Micheal Jackson. It was his responsibility to monitor the drugs Michael Jackson was taking.Very sad story.

difficult question ,i wouldve thought accidental death. But i feel really sorry for the late singers children

    Yes,I agree.Fare ,he'll be out in a couple of years.About right,for whatever happened.

Leaving a person with access to compounds that can be lethal in excess and allowing  the patient to quench their desperate quest for relief without supervision will always be the crime of negligences unless there is a collaboration between doctor and patient where the patient has unrestricted access in which case the doctor is assisting suicide with or without co-council.

Yes, I do. I have a hard time believing he premeditated murder, but total neglect, Yes. The verdict is correct given the circumstancial evidence.

He should be ashamed of himself. Mr. Murray(I"m dropping doctor) not only provided Michael Jackson with a dangerous drug, but he himself wasn't  trained for the use of propofol. It is said that when a physician administer propofol, he/she must be thoroughly trained to identify and treat immediately patients who loses airway or experience cardiovascular difficulties. I"m not saying that his intent was to killed Michael, but that's what he did. If he had only knew what to do and called 911, we probably wouldn't be having this conversation today. He's guilty and should receive more time.

Yes I do. I agree with winfla that premeditation isn't justified, but definately negligence.

Yes , I agree; event a nurse she was rejected MJ's request for propofol private treatment. Dr Murray maybe a good person but not a strong will doctor to say NO for using over dosage propofol etc ; so he deserved to be jailed for 4 years at least, a hard lesson for him!! And we lost MJ...sad very sad.
