Very friendly.  We have wonderful neighbours.

I live in a close knit neighborhood. Always a shout, "hello" or conversation, tools borrowed or lent out. Comments when one was allowed to bar B Q.......there's Jerry and Shannon, Bob and Rita, Sunshine, and I can't spell the Korean names, oh and Ali and her husband. They've always been willing to lend me eggs as long as I paid them back and I do..........

Friendly and quiet neighborhood...good combination!

All of my neighbors are friends too. All of us confide in each other and share greetings and abundances of crops and work occasionally. Many favors and sharing. We benefit each other any way we can. 

I have great people around me. My next door neighbor doesn't understand the meaning of returning borrowed tools. As we speak he still hasn't returned my tractor or leaf blower or chainsaw. I've been trying to come up with an idea to get back at him for years, but to no avail. He is a really good guy though.

I'm slightly jealous of all of you. I would like to know my neighbors but the way our houses are set, we go inside through the garage and don't see anyone.

My very next door neighbor was kind of a friend for awhile. She wanted me to teach her how to paint. When she learned how difficult it was, she backed out.

And now: Her ex husband moved in her house. We see his two cars. However I haven't seen her for months and months. Her husband isn't friendly and now I'm just a little afraid to call my neighbor. I'm, uh, worried.

How about "stopping by" with a new paint brush. Something sounds odd about that situation, don't you think? He was her ex for a reason!?

I'm neighborly and they are the same. We stay out of each others business.

My residence is in a condo complex....26 units.  The guy next door has been a good neighbor, helpful and friendly.  You could line up nearly everybody else and I wouldn't know them from Adam. 
I'm the newest person in the complex.  NO ONE has made any effort to say hello.  I've been here since May, 2010.  And, NO, I didn't haul my butt around introducing myself. 

we have great neighbours and I think we are also very friendly on our estate everyone leaves their doors open and you just walk in though I dont as my cats are not allowed on the street only the garden other wise I would leave my door open as well every one who comes to the estate says it like the old days where your door was always open

According to a recent survey conducted by this site I am “reserved" . I can live with that.

I am in a complex of 8 houses my neighbours are as follows.

Out of the 8, only one of them is not friendly,do you care to guess who ?And it's not me.
