Now I am all for compramise but in this situation I would say no , do not compramise on this at all , your going to lose the house the car and you will be lucky to see the dogs once a week, and there will be court and the other party will invite there family, just take the TV and the lounge and the Lawn mower.

    All the best :)

Absolutely.  Agree to compromise and move on.  Life is too short.

Never compromise.  It makes you feel short-changed.  Instead, negotiate.

    Chiangmai

She wants Italian food. You want Chinese food.

Compromise: You both agree not to eat at either place. Instead, you go to a Mexican restaurant.

Negotiation: You negotiate to let her pick the restaurant of her choice which is Italian tonight. Next week is your turn to pick the Chinese restaurant plus (this is major) a night out with the boys. Both are happy. Neither of you would need to compromise by eating Mexican food tonight.
