    There are several methods:

.A late harvest produces more mature grapes with a larger sugar content

.Allowing the grapes to become frozen on the vine, they are then pressed, the water stays with the grape and the syrupy condensed juice is bled off

.Stopping fermentation before the process is complete enhancing sweetness

The addition of sugar to immature grapes

and other fruits make a sweet wine, strawberries, cherries, and others usually make for a sweeter wine than straight grapes.

Any form of sweetener. (sugar, honey, molasses....)............
