A relapse can happen at any given time,5 years sober is a remakable victory, congratulations. As with any addiction you will never be totally free of that "urge".Stay focused and remain strong you have come too far, remember it is still "one day at a time".

You are always one drink away from relapsing. Even though you have done brilliantly with your AA attendance and motivation you will always have the disease of alcholism. You have done very well, do not be complacent and always on your guard and you will continue to do so.

As you know A Day At A Time it only takes one drink and you will be back where you started five years ago you know it is not worth it talk to your sponcer talk to the group you have know excuse to share how and why you are talking about relapsing Or ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A EXCUSE Start Sharing how you feel you know the ropes I knew a Guy 20 yrs clean had one drink and now is dead and found in the gutter dont let this happen and dont do it for anyone else you do it for you! good luck
