    What's your idea of an utopian society and why don't some good ideas catch on?

    Utopian means perfection in society, politics, and morals, in other words, a fiction and thank god for it. That would be the most intolerable place I could think of. In order for it to exist everyone would have to think the same, have the same beliefs, the same desires, and compatible goals. Life is interesting , amazing, and fulfilling because of the diversity and contrast the characterise people. And the reason that some good ideas aren't accepted is that the word good is highly subjective. In other words it's a matter of opinion. What you see as a good idea may seem like a disaster to someone else.

    I believe they tried this one in Jonestown....didn't work.

    My idea of a utopian society is everyone is the same, brainwashed, waiting for food, shelter, and all of life's necessities handed to them. A disgusting place that I want no part of.
