    how do you cut off the question you have accidently asked

    Once it's asked, it's asked. You could ask a moderator for a removal but it's easier just to rewrite the question...........

    LOL! There is no rule posted about a member deleting their OWN words. That is why there is nothing wrong with it. If you say something and then wish to change it, you certainly can. Just don't cause confusion in the thread by changing your answer after someone has responded, causing them to look foolish.
