 Hi Lind,as you can see i had a 48 inch cut Poulan Pro.. i had a look at your lt1046 on the internet..all decks are pretty much the same,feed your cutter belt through the pulley's on the top of the deck,then put a rope around the wheel on the opposite side of the shute ,wiggle the deck under the mower. bolt the pivot bar under the front,slide the cutter belt around the pulley under the motor, then you have 2 hanger bars at the back of the deck,one either side of the transmission ,they should be just 2 bolts with a washer and a split pin,, the bolt at the front of the pivot bar could be bolt and nut or bolt and washer and split pin, now sit your bum on the seat and get cutting,,,I am in Aussie mate, don't know where you are ,but there should not be very much difference,,anyhow let me know how you get on with it......all the best
