Anecdotal information: I once worked as a trained volunteer on a call-in crisis line. On an average 4 hour shift, we would receive 2-5 calls. When there was a full moon, the 4 hour shift would receive 5-14 calls. This was a consistent outcome during the time I worked there....3 years! Some refused the 'full moon shifts' as being way too stressful. Imaginary? I don't think so but I have no explanation.
