I am going through a non specific fever Virus. could this be a connection with SS?

I have had SS for 21 years. It seemed to be getting worse when the virus stuck.

With a chronic condition it is best that you contact your physician for medical advise.

Please let me know what SS is, just can't figure it out.  Thanks

I think you're talking about sickle-cell anemia when you refer to "SS".  It's actually a hereditary disease in which your red blood cells are sickle-shaped, rather than oval, and this causes a lot of circulation problems.  It occurs most often in blacks, because in regions like Africa where malaria ( a disease of the blood carried by mosquitos) was prevalent, the genetic defect of sickle-shaped blood cells was a survival adavantage (the malaria bug was unable to penetrate sickle-shaped cells).  However, in Western societies this genetic defect is a hindrance to circulation, and it shortens life span to 42 years for males and 48 years for females.  Any type of infection as SS patient gets (such as your virus) could lead to what's called a "sickle-cell crisis", which can last 5-7 days and includes pain, anemia, and fatigue.
