    Rain is falling.    (That is a complete sentence, grammatically correct)
    It is raining.  (Same)
    Its raining.    (This is not correct.  "ITS" is a possessive pronoun. The dog went into its house.
    It's raining.  (The contraction "it's" stands for "it is")   

    all the above are incorrect........it is not raining.......(here, anyway)

    It is raining.

    It is raining.


    It's raining like crazy.

    Its pouring down is correct ,

    it is raining cats and dogs,    a very silly saying.

    The 3rd one was not correct b/c you didn't put an apostrophe in there.

    it is raining is correct. the other two are incorrect.

    IT never rains because IT becomes a noun and remains in your book
