Put me in charge . . .. Put me in charge of food stamps. I'd get rid of Lone Star cards; no cash for Ding Dongs or Ho Ho's, just money for 50-pound bags of rice and beans, blocks of cheese and all the powdered milk you can haul away. If you want steak and frozen pizza, then get a job. Put me in charge of Medicaid.. The first thing I'd do is to get women Norplant birth control implants or tubal ligations. Then, we'll test recipients for drugs, alcohol, and nicotine and document all tattoos and piercings. If you want to reproduce or use drugs, alcohol, smoke or get tats and piercings, then get a job. Put me in charge of government housing. Ever live in a military barracks? You will maintain our property in a clean and good state of repair. Your "home" will be subject to inspections anytime and possessions will be inventoried. If you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360, then get a job and yourown place. In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job each week or you will report to a "government" job. It may be cleaning the roadways of trash, painting and repairing public housing, whatever we find for you. We will sell your 22 inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting stereo and speakers and put that money toward the “common good.”Before you write that I've violated someone's rights, realize that all of the above is voluntary. If you want our money, accept our rules.. Before you say that this would be "demeaning" and ruin their "self esteem," consider that it wasn't that long ago that taking someone else's money for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered self esteem. If we are expected to pay for other people's mistakes we should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices. The current system rewards them for continuing to make bad choices. AND While you are on Gov’t subsistence, you no longer can VOTE! Yes that is correct. For you to vote would be a conflict of interest. You will voluntarily remove yourself from voting while you are receiving a Gov’t welfare check. If you want to vote, then get a job.

I believe the age of ENTILEMENTS should end. The country is broke.
Welfare and food stamps were meant to help less fortunate people get back on their feet. Its NOT to provide an income so they can bang out more kids to increase the amount of those GOVERMENT CHECKS. More money has been pumped into inner cities in the last 45 years than you can imagine and these areas of the country ARE STILL dependant of Government assistance for the basics of life. A cesspool of "poor people" who expect the government to support them.
And ANOTHER THING, just because your neighbor makes more money than you do (unless your screwing Uncle Sam already) doesn't mean YOU have any right to divvy that money up so YOU can live a better life. My dad worked two jobs to support our family of 5 and never took a DIME from the government. The gravy train is OUT OF GRAVY.

What the Republicans are trying to do is stop spending taxpayer money, in an effort to redistribute the wealth by adding to the Nation Debt at a rate $1,000,000,000,000,000 a year, as we have for the past three years, that will bankrupt the country.
It the Democrats and the Republicans in Congress will do that, it will be good for the poor, the middle class, big and small businesses and the country. IMO

We do never learn from history
When Kennedy cut the marginal tax rate for 90% to 50% the economy grew.
When Reagan cut the rate from 50% to 32%. the economy grew
When Clinton RAISED the rate back up to 35$ from 32% the economy still grew but at a slower RATE.
When Bush lowered the rate back to 32% and lowered the rate for working poor from 15% down to 10%, the lowest tax rate in history, the economy grew.
The Dimocrat will never say so but the last two quarter of 2007, when the Republicans still controlled Congreess, the US Treasury was actually taking in MORE money than it was spending.
The first time that happed since the end of WWII.
When the Dimocrates regained control of the Congress in 2006 is when things stated to go to hell, but they blamed Bush
Their about making the RICH RICHER (INDIVIDUALS AND BUSINESSES) and THEMSELVES, the POOR/MID CLASS PEOPLE DON"T MATTER OR EXIST TO THEM.

How does one get poor in this country ???? Have TEN kids by the time your 25 ??????? And then need help from everyone. Drop out of school before you can count to five ??/ Only open a book when you're looking for toilet paper ????? Where do the rich get their money ???????? By TAXING the POOR ????? THE POOR DON'T PAY ANY INCOME TAX !!!! TAX BREAKS FOR THE RICH ??? WELL WHO THE HELL EARNED THE MONEY IN THE FIRST PLACE ??? HOW CAN YOU GIVE A TAX BREAK TO PEOPLE WHO DON'T PAY ANY INCOME TAX ????

The republicans are the most important group on the planet to date. That's why they get out & hire good Lobbyists to take care of all that needs doing-in order to keep their interests protected so that they & all others working for them can feed themselves. Without the republicans to take care of us & make all the righteous decisions about birthrate & religion. Where the heck would we be ? They are much more God like than any one else.
