    My understanding is the deeper the V means it is better for rough water,and the flatter the hull the more it is designed for river or dam water,,maybe somebody could correct me there..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<..

    maybe it's top heavy. The wider and flatter the hull is, the more it's stable b/c of it's  displacement on the water.

    Because it be unbalance or top heavy and make it tipped.
