Almost every rock/pop/R&B song you can think of

4/4 time is also called "common time" and is ubiquitous. Brian is
correct; nearly everything you hear on pop radio is in 4/4. A great
deal of classical and jazz is as well but doesn't always seem like
it. Basically music that doesn't sound like a waltz is probably
in 4/4 or 2/4. Composers do a lot of wacky things with time
signatures though. An example of 4/4 off the top of my head is
"Sing Sing Sing" by Benny Goodman; you can easily count to four along
with it because Gene Krupa is playing the bass drum right on the
    quarter notes.
Any combination of notes that are equivalent to the count of four in one measure.
