I love Spitzes; they're so cute! We used to have one years ago. It's pretty normal for them to have all-over shedding in the summer; just be sure to keep them brushed out, because that will help out a lot. However, if they have large clumps coming out in patches, that indicates a medical problem due to diet deficiencies or skin conditions, and you'd want to consult a vet.
