NO! These days their are more babies having babies as parents. These young parents need to be educated about proper nutrition for their children and learn how to make important decision in their children's lives.
That would be a drastic measure...maybe educate the parents on nutrition and diet.

"And if the (Parents) don't care then what?"

Good question, I asked a similar one a few days ago. I believe it's way, way, beyond where the government should be sticking their big noses.

    No way!

"PANDA "And if the (Parents) don't care then what?"

Then I say it's abuse. Allowing a child to be grossly overweight due to improper nourishment is just as detrimental to their future health as malnourishment is and the state takes kids away when their underfed or starved of proper nutrition. What's the difference?

    "Absolutely!"

Just teach the parents how to say NO.

    PANDA

    "NO! MEANS NO!"

    Not anymore.

i think maybe the parents ot to be fined $10 a pound till the kids reach their proper weight for their height and age, that would be a step in the right direction

Fines are marginally effective across incomes.
