What a delight to see such positive approaches.
What about them?
The lower part of a fold on the surface of the brain.
It is your bum muscle. The one you sit on.
Gosh, don't shout it around or you will be called a climate denier and villified by the political chateratti. They may even send someone to getcha for daring to argue with the 'consensus'.
Good question and good examples. I am sure that you have been wrong about somethings at some time and yet knew that there was some justification for at least part of what you did or said. Here lies the most common problem. For many people their 'sorry' can be all inclusive and be taken as an admission that everything they said or did was wrong, when in fact just a small part was . Indeed, it may only be an inadvertent 'hurt' that was caused but a 'sorry' will be taken as an all encompassing 'fault'. Most people try to avoid that. It is annoying but very human.
Then there is the 'let's move on' / 'put it behind us' syndrome which is also very common these days. It simply avoids confronting the real issues and/or denies the other person an opportunity to clear the air. That is damned annoying too. Some matters are just too important to be left unexamined.
I am not American either. In fact over 95% of people in the world aren't. But the issue is about due process.
I am not on yahoo answers, Colleen. I am not a classroom teacher. I am not a miserable person unsually. Why is it necessary for you to be so rude? I even agreed with you that were I a president I just might have the same attitude as you do, and thanked my stars that neither of us are. I remain fortunate that I live in a country where the Head of State does not ride roughshod over a man's /woman's right to be considered innocent (even if found with a gun in their hand standing over the body) until proven guilty in a Court. Now, please be nice.
Ask an environmentalist. They have taken over from those shabbily dressed, wild-eyed fundementalists who used to wander around with a sign saying "The End of the World is Neigh". They do it even better now, including the clothes. No longer on street corners, they are now in the classrooms and on TV telling us that we are all doomed sinners and Gaia is gonna get us unless we wear sack-cloth and ashes and pay billions in tax- penance.
