Stress could be a factor,although two months is really not all that bad,I have heard that women sometimes start menopause years before there periods stop.Go to your doctor and have your hormone levels checked.

It could simply be that you are stressed. And sometimes I have found that I haven't actually consciously recognized that I was stressed, but my body shows it in different ways. Otherwise it would be wise to go and see your doctor and ask for medical help or advice.

Obviously you haven't been to the doctor or you would know the answer to why you haven't had a period for two months...so how do you know you are not pregnant? Except for "no sexual relations" you cannot be sure you're not pregnant even at 43. Missed periods can mean something else is wrong but no one can tell you why except a physician after you are thoroughly examined. Please go to an ob/gyn physician and find out. I know you don't want to and believe me I know exactly how you feel but there is no way around it. Take care of yourself, go to the doctor. Your question is medical so consult a physician.
