Is there less of a chance of a divorce if an american man brings over a woman to marry from overseas?

If a man makes a good income and the woman he brings over is uneducated and wants to be a housewife and have a family is she more likely to be less materialistic and more content to stay home vs. having a career and being independent?

Think about it. If you were in her shoes and all of a sudden had prosperity, wouldn't you eventually want to have it all?
    No.

Why would you imagine a any woman would accept you anyway if you regarded her as uneducated?

There are women who would willingly stay at home, care for a man and bring up his children. Why? Because they loved him and knew they were loved for themselves.

That is what marriage means: loving one person regardless of whether he or she is clver, rich...

Try reading the wedding service. "For better, for worse... for richer, for poorer... in sickness and in health... for as long as we both shall live."

There's nothing in there about "only if you are stupid", "you have to be able to have children" or "you can't go to work".

Secular marriage demands no less and, without love, no marriage will work.
