Is it legal for a modular home park owner to let you buy your rent down? When I asked for a rent reduction, I was told that I would have to buy it down, and as of August my rent is going up to $622.00 per month, and their is no cap on our rent, it will just keep going up, and up like it has been. Anyone know about the legal aspects of that?

I want to know if it's legal for a Park owner to say if I want my rent lowered I will have to buy it down! PLEASE RESPOND!!!

At that rate, I'd buy my own place your just making them richer with nothing to show for it.
Tell him you will sign a long term lease at a reduced rental rate. He can't raise your rent then for the term of the lease. If he won't do it, then find another place that will.
