      GrubEx is very effective against Japanese Beetle (JB) grubs as they hatch from the egg. GrubEx is not very effective at all against grubs any larger than this stage and should not be used. For proper application in most areas, apply anytime from late-spring through mid-summer. For best results, apply GrubEx in June through July.
