By a bucket and a piece of rope longer than the distance from the first to second floor. Place bucket on first floor. Hang rope from second floor. Tie one end of rope to a point on the second floor, tie the other end onto the bucket on the first floor. Fill bucket with small objects. Go to second floor, grab rope, lift bucket from first floor to the second floor. Place bucket on second floor deck and take small things out of bucket. Lower bucket back to first floor and refill as needed with small objects. Repeat as necessary.
