      I would TRY to at least make an attempt to make ANY PAYMENT to slow the process down. You don't want to lose your house. Sorry to hear the bad news.

        With the incredible backlog of foreclosures these days, it can take well over a year before the sheriff will throw you out. However, most mortgage companies have set up many programs to help you keep your house. Have you contacted your mortgage company? I think you will find they will be more than happy to help you stay in your house with refinancing, loan conditioning, and forebearance.
