No we don't need to , we learnt how to use the correct cutlery. My mum was trained at one of the big houses in our village, silver service, and when to say you rang m'lady, and yes mam, and when not to speak at all. That was along time ago, things have changed since then, now a lot of kids eat with their fingers.
