Just Nor'easters. They can be nasty and knock out power for a week or more. We may be getting one for Thanksgiving.

Oh, I hope not ... You have a generator now? That was awful last year.

Yes, I have a generator now. Large enough to run the furnace, fridge, stove and electricity for lights in 2 other rooms. Good to go :)

    That's good good news!

My concern is fire. Australia is known for being hot therefore bush fires are most prevalent.

    Scary pythonlover...

I'm in New York. i wouldn't say "worry", but a slight concern about snow, to the point where it makes driving hazardous , is an inconvenience and requires shoveling. It's snowing right tnow and sticking to surfaces. Also, my friend is getting married in NY on Dec. 30th. I hope it doesn't snow..

I haven't been in the snow in a long long time. I'd like to look out the window and see it. I went skiing with some friends and there were Raccoons outside their cabin. The raccoons were about the size of Saint Bernards. (Heavy coat made them appear bigger, maybe)
